SMART STUFF | ARCHIVE | APPAREL |..1..2..3..4..5.....>............................USEFUL TIPS AND TRICKS Welcome to the Smart Stuff clothes, shoes and accessories section with some of the world's smartest gadgets, inventions and ideas for wardrobe and clothing. Also browse the useful tips and tricks page for some clever and useful ideas. ![]() Secret pocket socks. Well, that is not actually the name of this product, but we could not resist. There was way too much air of vintage Bond here to pass it up. Seriously, the sock seems to be for real, and it is perhaps too clever to make fun of. Just do not let anyone see you when you reach for your plastic. Okay, the sock stash has a small zippered hidden pocket where you can stash small stuff you want not found. We do not think it will fool the pro's, but it might deceive the give-me-your-wallet-in-a-hurry-junkie-amateurs. Via Red Ferret. The socks are available in sizes M and L with Siegler & Co at USD 14:95 (ca SEK 110:-) a pair. 6 July 2005 ![]() Make your own sunglasses. With this neat little sunglass kit you can transform your regular glasses into sunglasses. Or your bike goggles into dark ones. The privacy film kit is made to be cut to fit your glasses and the film will stick without any adhesive. There is even a credit card sized storage pocket to keep the cut and ready film in, when the sun is gone. If the film gets messy, you rinse it out with water. USD 10:- (ca SEK 70:-) will buy you a 6,5" x 2" sheet of shade film at Aerostich. 16 June 2005 ![]() Getting stains out. The following tips on stain removal comes from iHemmet. These belts are actually made for snowboarders, but us ordinary folks can find them useful, too. Hidden in the belt you will find a set of cleverly integrated tools; a bottle opener (gotta have one) a #2 phillips- and a #2 flat screwdriver, 8, 10 and 11 mm wrenches and a measuring scale. Available in black or brown leather from 686, who also offer cool clothes for snowboarding, skiing or other snow activities. Check it out... 9 June 2005 ![]() Walk the extra mile in merino wool socks. We suppose these Smartwool socks are made for the sportier among us. The people that spend their off hours hiking in the mountains or distance skating. But that does not mean these socks are not very comfortable for the rest of us, too. We use the thin inner sock like an ordinary sock in regular shoes. They are knitted to be comfortable and provide support for your feet and ankles. They are cool in hot weather and warm when it is cold out. Combine the thin inner sock with one of the heavier socks for hiking in boots, etc. They are not exactly cheap at SEK 120:- (USD 15:-) a pair at the Playground store in Stockholm, but our happy walking feet are worth every penny. 11 February 2005 THIS SECTION HAS MORE PAGES |..1..2..3..4..5.....> DEPARTMENTS | APPAREL | APPLIANCES | BAR | BBQ | BICYCLE | CAR | CHILDREN | COMPUTERS/TELECOM | CULTURE | DVD | EDIBLES | ENVIRONMENT | FLASHLIGHTS/TORCHES | FOOTWEAR | GARDEN | HOME | INTERNET | INVENTIONS A-Z | KITCHEN | KITCHEN FURNITURE | LEISURE | LINKS | META | MISC. | MOTOR CYCLES | OUTDOORS | PETS | PERSONAL CARE | PHOTOGRAPHY | READER'S CHOICE | SAFETY AND SECURITY | SERVICES | SMART STUFF aSTORE | SOLAR POWER | SOUND AND MUSIC | SWEDISH | THIRD WORLD | TRAVEL | TOOLS | VIDEO | WATER | WORK TIPS AND TRICKS | APPAREL | BAR AND DRINKS | BICYCLE | CAR AND DRIVING | COMPUTERS | CULTURE AND LEARNING | GARDENING | HOME | INTERNET | KITCHEN AND COOKING | OUTDOORS | PETS | TRAVEL | WORK AND BUSINESS Did you find the information on this site useful?
