![]() Draw analog, store digital. The Adesso CyberPad digital drawing pad offers the benefits of both analog and digital worlds. Just place an ordinary A4 paper on top of the pad and write and draw at will. The special digital (and ink) pen makes sure your notes and doodles are stored in the pad's internal 32 MB memory (good for 150 digital pages) ready for upload to your PC via USB. The CyberPad supports Windows 2000/XP and is available online for no more than USD 200:- (approx. SEK 1,550:-). Via Übergizmo. 22 March 2006 ![]() Pen that writes everywhere. It will probably not make you into another Steinbeck, Hemingway or Lorca all by itself, but it will at least give you a fair chance to jot down that brilliant idea no matter if you are perched on top of Everest, deep down in the Marianas Trench, or on an EVA from the International Space Station. This pen writes in any angle, any temperature, under water or in total vacuum and weightlessness. It is also pretty handsome with the titanium and carbon fibre shell that can be re-shaped into compact or normal length or for use as a PDA stylus. Only USD 89:95 (approx. SEK 690:-) at Hammacher-Schlemmer. Pretty steep for a pen, but what about that Great New Novel? Via Book of Joe. 5 March 2006 ![]() Ending cable clutter. The actual idea is not exactly new (that is, hiding power and network connections in a table-top), but this executions feels fresh. The solutions we have seen so far mostly consists of holes with either a round or square lid over the sockets. This employs a spring loaded connector strip with some sort of snap shut lock. You connect all the cables under the table and plug in your 'puter on top. The box is stainless steel and when you do not need it, you just push down to close. Poptech by Cube Industrial Design. Via Coolest Gadgets. 4 March 2006 ![]() Bag organizer. This clever bag-in-bag organizer for purses, backpacks, messenger bags or other bags offers the opportunity to quickly switch bags without getting all your stuff disorganized. Or keep all your stuff from getting in a mess everytime you look for something. It's called Inpaq and it's made of a see-through light weight vinyl coated polyester mesh. The Inpaq mesh insert has separate compartments for pens, cellphone and other stuff and it's available in different sizes to fit different size bags or purses. Invented by Stina-Lisa Öhlund and designed by Lisa Jörnstedt, the Inpaq bag is patented, made in Sweden and sells for about SEK 200:- (approx. USD 25:-) . There's no website that we can find, but you might get more info from this e-mail address. 19 February 2006 ![]() Empty and filled waste bin. Real life icon tell-tale waste bin. This both fun and clever waste bin for Materia has been designed by the Front design group, i.e. Katja Sävström, Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken and Anna Lindgren. The inspiration may or may not come from the little trash can icon us Mac users remember from MacOS 9.x, but this one is steel and changes it's shape in real life. 12 February 2006 THIS SECTION HAS MORE PAGES |..<.....4..5..6..7..8.....> DEPARTMENTS | APPAREL | APPLIANCES | BAR | BBQ | BICYCLE | CAR | CHILDREN | COMPUTERS/TELECOM | CULTURE | DVD | EDIBLES | ENVIRONMENT | FLASHLIGHTS/TORCHES | FOOTWEAR | GARDEN | HOME | INTERNET | INVENTIONS A-Z | KITCHEN | KITCHEN FURNITURE | LEISURE | LINKS | META | MISC. | MOTOR CYCLES | OUTDOORS | PETS | PERSONAL CARE | PHOTOGRAPHY | READER'S CHOICE | SAFETY AND SECURITY | SERVICES | SMART STUFF aSTORE | SOLAR POWER | SOUND AND MUSIC | SWEDISH | THIRD WORLD | TRAVEL | TOOLS | VIDEO | WATER | WORK TIPS AND TRICKS | APPAREL | BAR AND DRINKS | BICYCLE | CAR AND DRIVING | COMPUTERS | CULTURE AND LEARNING | GARDENING | HOME | INTERNET | KITCHEN AND COOKING | OUTDOORS | PETS | TRAVEL | WORK AND BUSINESS Did you find the information on this site useful?
