Clip-n-Seal bag sealer

Clip-n-Seal bag sealing clips.
This is apparently a new, smart bag clip that is supposed to work on any bag you might have in the house. Especially those half finished bags of chips or breakfast cereal the go stale all too quickly. The clip is supposed to give a both water- and air tight seal. As far as we have been able to find out, you fold the top of the bag over the plastic rod and then you push the clip onto it to seal the bag. Available in different sizes on Amazon, where a pack of three; one large, one medium and one small is USD 5:-. Via Uncrate.

EZ Plug wall plug attachment
EZ Plug wall plug helper.
We realize that wall power sockets can be hard to manage sometimes. In those cases maybe one of these EZ Plugs can be just the ticket? Attached to the end of the power cable of frequently used tools and appliances, like a vacuum or perhaps blender, it could make life a little easier for people with, for instance, arthritic hands. From Taylor Gifts at USD 6:98 a piece.

Vypar Products X-treme tejp Vypar Products X-treme tejp

Super tape does all, needs no glue.
This is a new silicone based tape that can be used as electrical tape (isolates up to 8,000 volts), heat tape (takes up to +500°F, makes a waterproof bond, works in cold down to -60°F and bonds only to itself. It will stretch up to three times its length without breaking, is easily shaped, and withstands UV-light, acids and fuels. As soon as it is rolled over itself, it starts to bond and after 24 hours it has fused into a permanent bond. The X-treme tape is USD 5:95 for a roll of 10 feet by 1 inch. at McFeely's. From Vypar Products. Via Cool Tools.

The Buttoneer. Loose button fastening tool

Loose button fastening tool.
Loose buttons are always a problem. Particularly so, since you never notice you have a loose button until it is too late to do anything about it. We wrote a post on one simple solution to the problem a while back; Stephanie Arman Lindströms Button Clips, and here is another, albeit a little more complicated. The tiny tool, The Buttoneer, fastens loose buttons by means of "invisible fasteners" instead of needle and thread. What these invisible fasteners are, is not entirely clear, but we suspect they are something like the plastic hooks used to attach labels and price-tags to clothes. The Buttoneer kit contains the tool itself, 50 fasteners and 10 buttons. From Taylor Gifts at USD 19:98 a piece.

Uppblåsbar klädhängare

Inflatable clothes hanger.
When we grew up we had inflatable clothes hangers pretty much like these in our washroom. They were perfect for sweaters, since they did not produce the sharp creases ordinary hangers did. Unfortunately our inflatable hangers broke one after the other. They had a metal hook that was attached to an eyelet in the plastic, and this was their achilles heal; the plastic eyelet was simply not strong enough to hold the sweater. We have missed the inflatable hangers ever since, and the other day we found these, with a different, and hopefully stronger, construction. From Taylor Gifts at USD 7:98 for two.
