Deckmaster deck fastening bracket
Build your deck without visible screws.
Deckmaster is a new tool from Grabber to be used to build decks. With the Deckmaster you can build a deck with no visible screws by joining the deck from beneath with these brackets. A package of 10 powder coated brackets and required screws are about USD 40:-, and the same thing in stainless steel is about USD 60:-. Should be available through hardware store most anywhere.

Plant watering spike
Automatic plant watering device.
We have seen several plant watering devices, but this one is a bit different, since it allows adjusting (3). When you have fastened the air tube (1), you screw the top onto an old water- or soft drink bottle (2). Then you adjust the amount of water by turning the knob on the side of the nozzle (3) and stick the nozzle into the flower pot (4). After that you do nothing until it is time to fill up with water. We have found it at Tree Help for USD 11:95 and at Grow Organic for USD 5:95. Both seems to offer the same pack of six, but as you can see, their pricing differs a bit...

Water Slice plant watering device

Plant saving moisture pad.
it is called the Water Slice, and sure, it looks a bit like a slice of würst, but it is actually a lot smarter than that. The slice is made of a new material that can absorb water up to four times it's original size. This takes about 3 hours, but (and here is the really good part), it releases this water slowly over a period of days or even weeks, depending on how greedy your plant is. This would be just the thing for hanging plants outside, but most of all for any houseplant indoors during a normal vacation. And when the slice is all dry, you put it in water again and repeat the process. USD 9.95 for 3 on Kinsman Garden. Via Book of Joe.

Clas Ohlson popup garden leaf collector

Collapsible garden bag.
We like foldable, collapsible stuff. And that is partly because they do not take up a lot of room, and in part because it is so obvious that someone has invested a lot of thought to figure out how to make them work. Today we found this collapsible garden bag among the special offers at Clas Ohlson. We are aware that it does not look very hopeful at the moment, but we are pretty sure there is going to be spring once again. And that you are going to need a large receptacle to clean up the garden or back yard from leaves, twigs and other whatnots that have gathered during winter. 170 litre (44 gal. US) collapsible garden bag. SEK 79:- (approx USD 10:-) at Clas Ohlson. Article# 31-3838.

Whatever Works garden bag holder

Garden trash bag holder.
This little contraption is called the Bag Stand, and it could simplify your gardening and weeding and other garden work that means leaves and weeds have to be collected. We suspect it could make an excellent collector for beer cans and other debris at the garden party, too. Handles bags up to 39 gallons (about 147 liters) and folds flat when not in use. USD 17:- (about SEK 130:-) including one bag at Whatever Works.
